Dr Steven Leach is a Research Fellow in the School of Women’s & Children’s Health in the Faculty of Medicine, UNSW.
Steven specialises in the area of Inflammatory Bowel Disease research. His area of expertise is in nutritional treatments of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, intestinal microbiota analysis and their contribution to disease and intestinal and faecal markers of inflammation. Additional areas of interest are the development of the intestinal microbiota community on newborn infants and how nutrition and the intestinal microbiota contribute to health and disease.
