Sandra Lorenz received the Ph.D. degree “Doctor rerum naturalis” in geosciences from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany, in 2019. She has been a Researcher with the Helmholtz-Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology since 2014, where she is currently the Head of the Digital Processing Group, Department of Exploration. Her research focus lies on UAV-based, terrestrial and lab-scale (hyper) spectral imaging for non-invasive mineral exploration, in particular multi-source data processing and integration.
