Dr. Merscher is a Research Professor in the Department of Medicine, Katz Family Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Research in her laboratory as contributed to elucidating new mechanisms that contribute to the pathogenesis of kidney diseases. Her research is supported by several federal grants and industry collaborations.
