Sanjeeb Kumar Kar (Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree from the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, and the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering in Control Systems, IIT Kharagpur. Currently, he is a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, ITER, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University. He has guided more than a dozen of Ph.D. students in his career. His research interests include control systems, power system optimization, AGC, and integration and power management.
