Abulanwar, S.

Sayed Abulanwar (IEEE Senior Member) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2005 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Energy Technology Department, Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt. He is a Associate Editor, IET Renewable Power Generation and Alexandria Engineering Journal. He is Guest Editor, IET Renewable Power Generation for Special issue: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy Systems. He is Guest Editor, Special Issue: Planning and Operation of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems, Volume II, Frontiers in Energy Research. His research includes hybrid AC/DC Microgrids, protection of AC and DC systems, wind energy conversion systems, transients in power systems and grid-connected converters.
