M. Scalora

Michael Scalora was born in Italy on November 9, 1962. He received the B.S. degree in physics from Montclair State College, Montclair, NJ, in 1984, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in 1988 and 1990, respectively. From 1991 to 1994, he was a National Research Council Research Associate at the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL. From 1996 to 2001, he was with Time Domain Corporation, Huntsville, AL. In 2001, he became a Research Physicist for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command. His research interests include integrated photonics, nonlinear and quantum optics, beam propagation effects, and photonic band gap structures.
