I am a scientific researcher (PhD, HDR) at Inria, the french institute for applied mathematics, computer science and their applications. I joined the project-team MONC (Mathematics in ONCology) in 2013, from a postdoc position at the Center of Cancer and Systems Biology (Boston, USA) and a background in applied mathematics. The topics of my research include data science in oncology, computational modeling of tumor growth and metastasis and pharmacometrics. Specifically, I currently try to integrate statistical methods and machine learning algorithms together with mechanistic modeling in a global approach termed 'mechanistic learning'. webpage: http://benzekry.perso.math.cnrs.fr/
