He has more than twenty years of research and teaching experiences in areas of Sediment Geochemistry, Marine Geology/Biogeochemistry, Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, in particular for the time window of last 50 thousand years, including Holocene, Deglaciation and Last Glacial intervals. To date, he has published more than 70 Science Citation Indexed papers. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Marine Science (section Marine Biogeochemistry) and editorial board member of Palaeo3.
