Seong Chan Jun received the bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees from George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, and Columbia University, New York, NY, USA, respectively. After he graduated, he worked with Nano Scale Science & Research Center and Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology sequently. He has been currently appointed a Professor with Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea since 2008. His research interests are Nano material based electro-mechanical devices, radio frequency devices, nano-photonics, optoelectronics, and sensing devices fabricated with nanomaterials.
