Shao-Yu Chang

I am a Master's student in Applied Mathematics with a Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) concentration at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign working with Professor Svetlana Lazebnik. My research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and image processing. I would like to build robust and creative models to help interpret the visual world and improve human’s ability to handle complex scenarios. Before this, I received my Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). During my years in NYCU, I worked with Professor Chin-Tien Wu as a research assistant.
