Bio
Sheikh Mahbub Habib received the B.Sc. degree in computer science and engineering from the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, the M.Sc. degree in computer science and engineering from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and the Ph.D. degree (Dr. rer. nat.) in computer science focusing on IT security from Technische Universität Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt), Germany. He was leading the smart protection in infrastructures and networks area at the Telecooperation Laboratory, TU Darmstadt. He currently holds a position as Automotive Security and Privacy Specialist with the Security and Privacy Competence Center, Continental AG Germany. During his academic duty, he was involved in acquiring several cybersecurity research projects, such as CROSSING, PAT, and PROTECTIVE, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the European Commission. His research interests are computational trust models, trust management, mobile application security and privacy, and vehicular security and privacy. He is serving as a Reviewer in several top journals, usch as the IEEE TIFS, IEEE TCC, ACM TOPS, and ACM CSUR. He is currently appointed as the Publicity Chair in the IFIP WG 11.11 (Trust Management).
