刘世名,博士,研究员,博士生导师。
主要从事大豆孢囊线虫(SCN)抗性基因定位、克隆、功能鉴定及其抗性机制,大豆与大豆孢囊线虫相互作用,以及大豆突变育种等方面的研究。克隆了2个主要的大豆孢囊线虫抗性基因Rhg4 GmSHMT08和rhg1-a GmSNAP18,揭示了一种一碳代谢参与的植物抗病新机制,开发了多个大规模EMS (Ethyl methanesulfonate) 化学诱变大豆突变群体及建立了高通量大豆TILLING (Targeted Induced Local Lesions IN Genomes) 突变体筛选方法,建立了大豆CRISPR/Cas基因组编辑技术体系。成果在Nature、Nature Communications 、Plant Biotechnology Journal、Plant Physiology、The Plant Journal及Theoretical and Applied Genetics等期刊上发表。获2项美国专利和1项中国专利授权。
