Simon Collings

Simon Collings received the B.S. degree (with first class honors) from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, The University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia, in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Mathematics and Statistics and the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, The University of Western Australia, in 2007. Since 2007, he has been with the Mathematics for Mapping and Monitoring Group, Division of Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Wembley, Australia, working on satellite and aerial remote sensing data. His research interests include mathematical aspects of computer vision, hyperspectral imaging, and pattern recognition.
