Her research focuses on the physics and chemistry of polymers and glass-forming materials, including polymerization and Tg at the nanoscale. She has published over 135 refereed journal publications and has over 5500 citations and an h-index of 41 (according to Web of Science). She has numerous honors, including the Society of Plastics Engineers International Award, the Society of Plastics Engineers Research Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award of the North American Thermal Analysis Society. She has also been named a Fellow of the American Physical Society, the Society of Plastics Engineers, the North American Thermal Analysis Society and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
