Stanislaw P Simakov

Stanislav P. Simakov received the Diploma of Nuclear Physicists from St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1976, the Ph.D. degree from Radium Institute, St. Petersburg, in 1984, and the Habilitation from Kurchatov Atomic Energy Institute, Moscow, Russia, in 2000. He was with the Institute of Physics and Power Engineering, Obninsk, Russia, as a Leading Scientist and Group Head until 2000. He is currently with the Institute for Neutron Physics and Reactor Technology, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen, Germany. His research interests include experimental and theoretical studies of nuclear reactions, nuclear data validation, and their applications for fusion and fission.
