Bio

Stefan Hugger received the Diploma degree in physics from the University of Freiburg, Germany, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Duesseldorf, Germany, in 2008. In 2008, he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid-State Physics, Freiburg, where he currently leads the Laser Modules Group. His research mainly focuses on infrared lasers and their applications, in particular tunable EC QC lasers for mid-IR spectroscopy.
