Have worked as Medical Epidemiologist in public health for over 40 years, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 1977 - 2005 and 2009-2018, and World Health Organization 1997-1999 and 2005-2008. Primary expertise in vaccine preventable diseases and viral hepatitis, in both the United States and internationally. Have published more than 150 articles and book chapters in peer reviewed journals and book chapters. Currently work as consultant medical epidemiologist with emphasis on vaccine preventable diseases and viral hepatitis.
