Steve F. Shippee

Steve F. Shippee is a semi-retired former instructor, necropsy and photo-id specialist, biological technician, and dolphin trainer. He previously worked at Pensacola State College as adjunct instructor; the Department of Biology, University of Central Florida; and at Emerald Coast Wildlife as Stranding Response Coordinator. Steve does research in Ecology. His ongoing project is 'Bottlenose dolphins in Choctawhatchee and Pensacola Bays,' and characterization of bottlenose dolphin interaction with recreational fishing in the north-central Gulf of Mexico. He also has done radio tracking of free-ranging dolphins in Florida, North Carolina, and New Jersey.
