Steven Clapcote

Steve Clapcote is Lecturer in Pharmacology at the University of Leeds in the UK, where he leads a research group focussed on understanding the molecular basis of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Steve undertook research on genetic susceptibility to African sleeping sickness for his PhD at the University of Liverpool. He then held research fellowships in mammalian genetics and neuroscience at the University of Oxford and Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, before setting up his lab at Leeds in September 2008.
