Steven M. Quiring

Steven M. Quiring received the B.A. (Hons.) degree from the University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, MB, Canada, in 1999, the M.A. degree from the University of Manitoba in 2001, both in geography and the Ph.D. degree in climatology from the University of Delaware, Newark, DE, USA, in 2005. He is currently a Professor with the Atmospheric Sciences Program, Department of Geography, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. His research focuses on hydro-climatology, climate variability, and the impact of hurricane activity on infrastructure systems. He is a Member of the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Society, and the Association of American Geographers.
