I’m a biologist studying the amazing world of seeds. I want to learn how seeds have evolved mechanisms to survive such a long time, without the ability to repair oxidative damage in a dry condition. The results from our seed research are translated into practical applications for farmers, genebanks and seed companies, who finance part of our research. In my private life, I’m a SCUBA diving instructor and enjoy with my partner and friends the wonderful underwater world.
