Stig Syndergaard

Stig Syndergaard received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in geophysics and the Ph.D. degree in natural sciences from the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1990, 1995, and 1999, respectively. From 2000 to 2007, he was a Research Associate and Research Scientist with the University of Arizona, Tucson, and a Visiting Scientist with the COSMIC Project Office, University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, CO. He is currently a Scientist with the Danish Meteorological Institute, Copenhagen, where he primarily works with the processing, validation, and analysis of radio occultation data from the European MetOp satellite.
