Sumit Banerjee received his B.E. degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, M.E. degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India and Ph.D. degree from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, India.. Presently, he is Professor and Head (Department of Electrical Engineering) at Dr. B C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, India. His research interests are operation of electric power distribution and power system operation control.
