Geethapriyan T completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Tamil Nadu, India in 2011, 2013 and 2019 respectively. He is currently working as a Fixed-term Researcher/Assistant Professor with time contract, Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT), Politecnico Di Torino, Italy from June 2023. He has 6 years and 7 months of academic and research experience as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Formerly SRM University), Chennai, India. He has 1 years and 4 months of research experience as a Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF) under the SERB Fund (N-PDF scheme) in the Mechatronic and Instrumentation Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has published more than 42 Journal publications, 45 International conferences presented, 7 national conferences presented, 5 Patent Publication, 1 Book Chapter Publication, Reviewer for 10 International Journal and 10 International Conference, 8 International collaborations, 14 workshop/FDP/Conference organized, 6 Award, 3 Keynote Speaker and 14 B.tech research project guided so far. His areas of interest are Metal Additive Manufacturing Processes, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Micro and Nano machining, Shape Memory Alloy Materials, Laser-assisted peening process, Design of Experiments and Optimization Techniques.
