Timothy M. A. Utteridge

An interest in natural history and biology has led to a career in botany and taxonomy, particularly in tropical Asia. Strengths include excellent generalist plant identification skills, a detailed knowledge of the flora of SE Asia, and research focused on Primulaceae/Myrsinaceae and 'Icacinaceae'. Floristic interests are focused on New Guinea, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo. I have a broad understanding of Angiosperm diversity through running Kew's annual Tropical Identification Course.
