Tom Maffitt graduated from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN, with a B.S.E.E. degree. He is a Senior Engineer at IBM in Essex Junction, VT. He joined IBM in 1979. His contributions include DRAM product development and design from 64 Kb to 256 Mb, and he is the author or coauthor of 12 patents and 10 technical papers. He is currently involved in MRAM and phase change memory development.
