Thomas R. Knosche

Thomas R. Knösche received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University Ilmenau, Ilmenau, Germany, in 1992, and the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. From 1993 to 1995, he worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Twente. from 1996 to 1998, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, Leipzig, Germany, and from 1999 to 2001, as a Research & Development Manager at A.N.T Software B.V., Enschede, the Netherlands. Since 2001, he has been a Research Scientist at the Max-Planck-Institute of Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, Leipzig, Germany. His research interests include the reconstruction of the generators of neuroelectromagnetic fields, the analysis of diffusion weighted magnetic resonance images, and the neurocognition of music.
