Tae Kim received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in psychiatry from the Kyung Hee University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea, in 1999 and 2009, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, South Korea. His current research interests include the neurobiology of sleep-wake control and pain, and novel therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer’s disease, including ultrasound, sound, vibrotactile, and transcranial direct current stimulation.
