Tae Kim

Tae Kim is a manufacturing engineer for the Mechanical Fabrication and Test Section at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He worked on the manufacturing of various components for the Mars 2020 Sample Caching System including the Hermetic Seals and Sample Tubes. He is currently the lead manufacturing engineer supporting the Mars Sample Return project. He received a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He previously worked at Precision Castparts Corp. as an engineering manager specializing in aerospace fasteners for Boeing.
