My clinical expertise is in hepatobiliary surgery, gastrointestinal surgical oncology, minimally invasive surgery and liver transplantation surgery. I am an ad hoc reviewer for multiple medical and surgical journals and serve on the editorial board of The Journal of Oncology Practice, Surgery, Annals of Surgery and the Annals of Surgical Oncology.
I mentor research fellows in Health Services Research and have published over 220 manuscripts related to my areas of interest, including advanced liver imaging techniques, chemotherapy-induced liver injury, surgical quality improvement, enhanced surgical recovery, team science and the medical economics of cancer surgery.
