个人简介
Timothy Canham has worked at JPL since his graduation from University in 1991 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He spent the first part of his career developing hardware and software for controllers in NASA’s Deep Space Network, a collection of ground stations that communicate with spacecraft from NASA and other organizations. More recently, Tim worked on flight software for JPL missions such as Cassini and Curiosity. He was the flight software and operations lead for the Ingenuity Mars Helicopter through the summer of 2021, and is currently the software lead and avionics architect for the Sample Recovery Helicopters, part of the Sample Return Lander project. Tim is also the original developer and architect for the F Prime flight software framework (https://fprime.jpl.nasa.gov/), an open-source framework utilized by JPL on missions such as Asteria, Lunar Flashlight, and Ingenuity. F Prime has also been used in partnership with a number of university CubeSat teams as well as other organizations.
