个人简介
Tobias Knopp received the Diploma degree in computer science from the University of Lübeck, Lübeck, Germany, in 2007, with a thesis on field inhomogeneity-aware image reconstruction in magnetic resonance imaging, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Lübeck in 2010.
From 2007 to 2010, he worked on various aspects of magnetic particle imaging (MPI). From 2010 to 2011, he stayed in Lübeck as a Post-Doc and wrote the first scientific book on MPI during this time. In 2011, he moved to Bruker Biospin, Ettlingen, Germany, to work on the first commercial MPI system, which was delivered to several institutes in Europe. From 2012 to 2014, he worked at Thorlabs, Lübeck, in the field of optical coherence tomography (OCT) as a Software Developer. Since 2014, he has been a Professor of biomedical imaging at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany, and the Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg. His research interests include signal and image processing, inverse problems, image reconstruction, scientific programming, and machine learning in the context of various tomographic imaging techniques.
