Tong-Yu Hsieh

Tong-Yu Hsieh (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan City, Taiwan, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He was also a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Southern California at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, USA, from 2008 to 2009. He joined as a Faculty Member with National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 2011, and is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and also an Associate Vice President of The Office of Academic Affairs. His recent research interests include VLSI design and testing, reliability and yield improvement, computer-aided design, as well as teaching practice research. Dr. Hsieh was a recipient of the 2018 Taiwan IC Design Society Distinguished Young Scholar Award, the 2018 IEEE Tainan Section Best Young Professional Member Award, the 2020 IEEE Tainan Section Macronix Award, and the 2017 NSYSU Superior Teaching Award. He has been a member of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society since 2005, 2018, and 2020, respectively.
