Trond Varslot

Trond Varslot received the M.Sc. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 1998 and 2004, respectively. His Ph.D. research was focused on aberration correction in medical ultrasound imaging. He held research positions with the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Australian National University. For the past decade, his main focus is on micro computed tomography and tomographic reconstruction. He is currently a Systems Architect Principal with Thermo Fisher Scientific. His research has spanned various imaging applications such as non-linear medical ultrasound and multistatic surveillance radars.
