Tsung Sheng Kao received the B.S. degree in physics from National Central University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2001, the M.S. degree in physics from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, Southampton, U. K., in 2012. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore, from 2013 to 2014. Since 2014, he has been an Assistant Research Fellow with the Department of Photonics, Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. His primary research interests include nanooptics, superresolution imaging technology, controlled light localization on the nanolandscapes, nonlinear optical responses of hybrid nanosystems, light enhancements in plasmonic optoelectronic devices, and surface plasmon resonance for bio-sensing.
