Tung-Kung Wu

Tung-Kung Wu was born in Taiwan, R.O.C., in 1963. He received the Ph.D. degree in biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, in 1996. In 1996, he joined the group of John H. Griffin at Stanford University, Stanford, CA, working on the structure-function relationship of oxidosqualene cyclases, which catalyze the most complex chemical reactions known in chemistry and biology. In 1998, he became Assistant Professor of biological science and technology at the National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, where his research efforts are focused on the interface between nano- and bio-technology, as well as chemistry and biology of molecular evolution.
