Our lab is driven by a fascination for the complexity of (membrane) protein structure and dynamics. We work on the diverse regulatory and architectural roles of lipids and allosteric modulators of ABC transporters and TRP channels and on a moleular understanding of the function and inhibition of essential proteins in host-pathogen interactions (with a focus on pathogens causing neglected tropical diseases).
