I am currently working for the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics but based in the Electronic Engineering department at the University of Manchester, researching low noise amplifiers for use in radio telescopes. This includes upgrades for eMerlin (http://www.e-merlin.ac.uk/) and new designs, technologies and techniques for Alma (http://www.almaobservatory.org/) and the Square Kilometer Array (https://www.skatelescope.org/).
