In postgraduate period, my research area are epileptogenesis and epigenetics, mainly in temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) and DNA methylation. Now, we have obtained Omics datasets include DNA methlation beadchip (850K), RNA sequencing (mRNA, miRNA, lncRNA, circRNA) and proteome from TLE patient. Further advanced analysis including omics-integrate analysis and experimental validation are needed. Our future work could make use of recent technological advances to analyze in individual neurons, rather than groups of cells, to provide an even more detailed picture.With abundant clinical resources that can produce different types of high throughput data, we are eager to have in-depth cooperation with bioinformatics and computational biology lab for further advanced analysis.
