个人简介
Wenwei Xu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the master’s degree in automatic control from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1990.
He is currently the Chair of the Scientist Advisory Committee of Huawei, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China. In 1991, he joined Huawei's R&D department. He has been committed to telecommunications technology research, product R&D, and industry development. For more than 30 years, he has overseen the research and development of various key technologies and products, making significant contributions to Huawei's leading position in the global telecommunications sector.
Mr. Xu was the recipient of the 2022 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Award of Scientific and Technological Achievement. In 2020, he proposed “Ten Top Challenges in the ICT Sector in the Post-Shannon Era,” which was published in SCIENTIA SINICA Mathematics. He was invited to deliver a keynote speech as an industry expert at IEEE GLOBECOM 2020, which is dedicated to promoting the innovation and development of the telecommunications industry. He is Huawei Fellow, which is the highest technical title at Huawei.
