Xiaokang Zhang (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in photogrammetry and remote sensing from the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China. Since 2023, he has been a specially appointed Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Wuhan. He has authored or coauthored more than 30 scientific publications in international journals and conferences. His research interests include remote sensing image analysis, computer vision, and machine learning. Dr. Zhang is currently a reviewer for more than 20 renowned international journals, such as Remote Sensing of Environment, ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, and IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing.
