Xinan Zhang (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering and automation from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2014. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with NTU and the University of New South Wales from 2014 to 2017. He worked as a Lecturer with NTU from June 2017 to September 2019. He joined the University of Western Australia, Perth, WA, Australia, in 2019, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include electrical machine drives, control and modulation of power electronic converters, and management of hybrid energy storage systems.
