Yang Shen

Yang Shen (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2007 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, USA, in 2013. He is currently a Research Scientist with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Virginia. His research interests include the design, fabrication, and characterization of high-power and high-linearity photodiodes, especially the thermal management of high-power photodiodes.
