Yann Rolland

Yann Rolland currently works (since 2018) at the Universite de Savoie in Chambery and Univ. Grenoble Alpes (France). He formerly worked at University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. Yann does research in Geology, Geochemistry and Geomorphology. Current projects include : (1) the geomorphological evolution of mountains belts (study of the roles of erosion and tectonics in the Alps, erosion of the Antarctic continent). (2) The behaviour of geochronological systems (especially Ar-Ar & cosmogenic nuclide dating...). (3) The evolution of collisional belts (Caucasus, Tien Shan, Himalaya, with a focus on the metamorphism of subduction & Collision and the obduction of ophiolites.
