Yiming Zhao received the B.S. degree in materials science from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2012, and the M.S. degree in materials science from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA, in 2015, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in materials science. He is currently conducting research with the Laboratory for Laser Energetics, where he is focusing on the development of ultrafast ultraviolet photodetector based on AlGaN.
