Yu-Chuan Lin

Yu-Chuan Lin was born in Yunlin, Taiwan, in July 1986. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Manufacturing Information and Systems, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan, in 2015. After that, he joined the e-Manufacturing Research Center (eMRC), NCKU, serving as a Post-Doctoral Researcher, an Assistant Research Fellow, and an Associate Researcher Fellow. He is currently a Secretary-General with the Intelligent Manufacturing Research Center (iMRC). Furthermore, he has already got two patents in the field of cloud manufacturing from Taiwan and USA, besides, the patent from China is under pending. His expertise and research interests include cloud computing, cloud manufacturing, e-automation technologies, and IT applications in manufacturing industries. During this period, he had already published ten journal articles and more than 20 conference papers, which also helped him win the Best Application Paper Award in IEEE CASE 2017, the Best Paper Award in Automation Finalist in IEEE ICRA 2018, and the Best Student Paper Award in ACIIDS 2019.
