Alongside my current role as Head of the QUT School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering and Director for ARC ITTC, as PVC-RCA, I will lead the development and implementation of an overarching strategy to deliver on the University’s commitment to the professional development, sponsorship and success of early and mid-career academics. My own professional trajectory has seen progress from joining QUT in 2007 as an early career lecturer with an Australian Research Council (ARC) Postdoctoral Fellowship(APD), through mid-career academic, ARC Future Fellow, then to an esteemed academic with a well-established international reputation.
