Bingbing Zhang

Bingbing Zhang currently is a doctoral student in Mass Communications at the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications from the Pennsylvania State University in the United States. She obtained her master's degree on Mass Communications from Texas Tech University. She also received a master's degree on Journalism and Communications from Jinan University in China prior to her study in the United States. Her research interests focus on political communication and media effects regarding how media messages impact individuals’ political beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors change. Using quantitative method, she looks at how new technologies influence people’s processing of information, affective responses, and attitudes formation, and how people use different ways to express their political opinions online and offline.
