Zhao feng Zhai

Zhaofeng Zhai is currently an assistant professor at Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Shenyang (China). He began his academic career by completing a PhD in Material Science at University of Science and Technology of China in 2020. His postdoctoral research took him to the Department of Film Materials and Interfaces at the Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from 2020 to 2023. In 2020, he joined the Department of Film Materials and Interfaces at Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as an assistant professor. Zhaofeng Zhai is the author of more than 27 peer-reviewed publications and 2 book chapters. He is the reviewer of Vacuum. He has been honored with the Functional Diamond 2022 Outstanding Young Scholar Award and the Excellent Award from the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
