个人简介

Circulating Tumor Cell (CTC) is a rare population of tumor cell found in cancer patients' peripheral blood. CTC is considered to be the 'real culprit' to cause metastasis. Interrogating CTC can provide prognostic information for cancer management. My work on CTC focus on study of molecular and functional characteristics of CTC. This may provide additional information on cancer treatment selection and personalized therapy all based on a minimal invasive blood draw as 'liquid biopsy'.
